We ask a lot of ourselves and expose ourselves, consciously or unconsciously, to harmful substances on a daily basis. This can make you feel less fit in the long run. A cleanse can help you regain balance. We advise you to do a cleanse twice a year. The beginning of spring and the beginning of autumn are ideal times for this.

- Optional: Extra support through supplements aimed at supporting the liver, lymphs, kidneys and intestines to further support the system.
HOW
1. Nutrition
The cleanse focuses on nourishing and supporting your system. Creating space so that you can function optimally and energy can flow again. No extremities by living only on juices but focusing on nourishing and warming meals. Foods that make a positive contribution to this:
- Vegetables
- Fruit ( Max 300 g per day)
- Legumes
- Gluten-free grains, roots and tubers ( Rice, quinoa, oats, buckwheat, teff, corn, sweet potato, pumpkin, celeriac)
- Tempe ( Bumi tempe and Boon tempe are soy free)
- Nuts, seeds and kernels
- Hummus
- Veggie spreads
- Nut paste
- Avocado
- Olive oil
- coconut oil
- Vegetable dairy products
- Sprouting
- Sea plants
- Fresh herbs
- Spices
- Herbal tea, (coconut) water
- Optional extra vegan protein powder for smoothies and other breakfasts
- (Exceptionally goat cheese, sheep cheese, egg)

2. Relaxation
Stress often puts a huge strain on our system. Integrating relaxation is therefore an essential part if you want to support and (back) balance your body. In a relaxed state, the body can recover and function optimally. We recommend to build in daily 'small' relaxation moments during the cleanse and also, if feasible, to focus on larger moments.

- Meditation, for example, via Headspace
- Conscious breathing
- Massage
- Sauna
- Taking a bath with bath salts (if you don't have a bath, take a foot bath) also very nice as a face mask
- Reading a book
- Insert a 100% 'screen-free' day (we recommend doing this once a week)
3. Supplements
We recommend taking supplements if you want to take your cleanse to the next level and give your system extra support.
Kidney cleanse
1 capsule per day after breakfast
liver cleanse
1 capsule per day after dinner
15 Day Cleanse (bowel)
1-2 capsules at bedtime
Use all supplements for optimal results with the exception of the supplement for the intestines, the 15 Day Cleanse. You can repeat this in 3 - 6 months.
Finally
Taking good care of yourself isn't rocket science, but often we just don't manage to really choose ourselves. We hope to support you in this process with this blog and the recipes. Don't be too hard on yourself, it's not a competition and try to work on a mode that suits you. Try to get into a certain flow and be kind to yourself. Every step is one!
A nice higher goal of the cleanse is when certain habits linger after the cleanse. Think, for example, of regular moments of relaxation, eating more vegetables and reducing your sugar intake.
