We expand the skin care dictionary with water creams, which almost sounds too simple to be true. But they make sense in the way that they prioritize ingredients that attract and bind moisture. Moisture magnets, such as hyaluronate and glycerin. You might think: yes-moisture-is-important, but in fact, it's very very important in working and moving on with anything else - from pigment stains to weary lines. Fish oil and glucosamine are the way to keep close from inside if you ask Dr. Howard Murad, who actually writes books about this subject. Dermatologist Leslie Baumann also focuses on glucosamine, which is usually used in relation to our joints, to be important for the skin. The explanation is that glucosamine is part of the hyaluronic synthesis. Danish dermatologists are more subdued, where Professor Christian Grønhøj expresses himself like this: "We have long known glucosamine (GA) as an anti-age candidate. GA stimulates the synthesis of hyaluronic acid and should also improve the elasticity and water barrier in the skin. GA also inhibits tyrosinase and should thus inhibit hyperpigmentations. So Ledlie Baumann and Murad may be right. "
